Nicki Minaj is a up and coming female rapper and singer who is signed to Young Money Entertainment with distribution with Universal Motown.

She is Indo-Asian, Afro-American, and Trinidadian descent. She graduated from LaGuardia High School in Manhattan.

After high school she worked as an administrative assistant and worked at becoming a professional rapper/singer in her spare time.

Nicki's hard work paid off and she was discovered on Myspace by Dirty Money CEO Fendi. This eventually led to her being noticed by Lil Wayne and getting signed to Young Money in August 2009.
